I bought one of these for £6.00 a few weeks ago and love mine so much that I wanted some for xmas presents, was delighted to find them half price at Tescos today :j They dont use batteries so no idea how they work lol ETA: Another poster has also pointed out that there is a link for a £1 off voucher :T

    Oh missed out there but still happy as anticipated paying £6.00 per candle. May have to get some more at £2.00 too bulk out peoples pressies - think they are lovely gifts and well worth £2 even for those people you wouldnt normally 'spoil' :) Thanks for the info about the dye lol hubby was surprised that they work over and over again everytime you light them :p
  • I'm sure these were also £3 in Wilkinsons at the weekend, if Tesco doesn't have any it may be worth a look :)

    btw think they work as the wick has dye in it :)


    They have a metal strip alongside the wick which gets hot and causes the colour change.......not sure how it works as the metal burns down along with the wick hth.

  • These are lovely, they change colour when a silver sensor heats up near the wick from what I can tell.
    1,2 & 5p: Christmas day food £9.31
    10 & 20p: misc savings £2.70
    50p: Christmas presents £3.50
    £2: holidays £2.00

    theyre also £3 in asda .. wouldnt pay £6 for one, theryre not worth that as htey dont last that long.
