  • One other thing to try if you want to use the 250 point voucher out of the burgundy bag, there is a N07 tan wipe for £1.50 and this goes through fine with the points voucher as I did it myself today so £1.50 spent but £2.50 back in points :)
Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!

I was told this yesterday as boots have advertised this offer there is nothing they can legally do to stop it until the date stated.

Just try to pick a nice SA as some are jobs worths & try to make you feel uncomfortable. BUT remember you are doing nothing wrong.

But some stores must have manually overridden the offer.

Yesterday the till did BOGOF on 6 suncare items, but not then the 342. I took a deep breath and asked why the 342 hadn't worked, as it had in other stores, and was told I must be mistaken.

By this time of course the security guy was hovering, which is starting seriously to annoy me.

This, by the way, was the Carlton Centre branch in Lincoln.

Boo to the Carlton Branch then! Does that mean if you bought 3 items in the No7 range it wouldn't give you the discount? wouldn't that get them in trouble if theyre advertising it.

I agree with someone saying here about not using our advantage card sometime, as don't want boots to track you.

I did 641 without my card and paid by cash. Felt good. Even a bit shy at the till when a male sa tried to spot anything wrong.

But he didn't know me and noone knew me in the shop. phewww went back with load of stuffs with the fraction price.

    They would.

the Sa told me she had been to meadowhall & they had signs up advertising both of the offers.

What can Boots do even if they do have your details? If the till lets you buy the items at that price then you are doing nothing wrong.
There's a skinny woman inside me screaming to be let out. A cookie soon shuts her up!!! :rotfl:

    Mortgage-free Glee!
Don't know if you are aware, but for those with parenting vouchers the free dispo cameras are on BOGOF, and so you get £18's worth of waterproof dispo cameras for free. Also tried the 3for2 on the body buffer, and she asked me should I put them through seperately for you so that you can use more than one voucher - I lied and said that I only had one voucher and theat they would have to all go through together - total to pay 1.50. SA said that I ought to go and get some more at that price!

    hi

ive got a few of the £5 vouchers left, ive done the suncare and dont know what to buy now. any ideas/recommendations?

    I recommend..

    with £5.00 vouchers:
    No7 Quick Thinking 4 in 1 Wipes £6.00 (are v. good)
No7 Cleanse & Care Eye Make up Remover £6.00 (is brilliant)
and No7 Deeply Moisturising Lipcare £8.00 (is v. good)

I also recommend the bionsen all over natural deodorant - theres 100 points (i think) voucher at the back of the january mag, it came out at £2.99 at the till. It really works, is natural and has no aluminium. i had dance workout last night and it worked brilliantly! (its strange, you add water to crystals and spray)

    with £3.00 hair vouchers:
Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock Glosser £4.09 (theres also a blonde version, just use a teensy bit, its great)
Brilliant Brunette Luminous Colour Glaze Hazle/Chest £6.99 (costs a bit more but worth it....theres a few shades in this one, actually works better if you dont use conditioner first)

I'm off to buy another bundle today in a local store, this time it'll be a bit of a range, then i'll buy some nice gift boxes and be set for pressies this summer lol

gonna try a few vouchers today, haircare £3 and no7 £5 as well as some bonus points ones from the mag. Think i better stock up on some relaxing bath soak or something as i'll be on edge from the shop! lol
