  • Had a bit of a rubbish day today. I got the glycolic peel today but the till said no to the wrap :( I was going to use my No.7 parenting voucher but DP was hassling me so I had to leave. And I finally get to a store with a AC machine but there were no decent offers on it.

But the peel was very good, I've got skin as smooth as a baby's bum :p

I know it's slightly off thread but if you're not getting points voucher from acm for toothpaste, go to Tesco, pick up some quit smoking packs, use vouchers and you'll get toothpaste and the like free.

I also went to Boots today but the 3 acms were covered up saying not in use. What good does that do you. Still had some Sanctuary and Essential Aromatherpy vouchers from the other day but could not find any Sanctuary sachets or EA £1 stuff. Where are u finding these, are they with the rest of EA stuff or with the miniatures etc.

The EA stuff I bought were with all the minatures next to the bubble bath/shower gels at the back of the store. Be aware the 100 points voucher may not scan. Check your receipt straight away and ask for the points to be added on manualy. There are no terms and conditions with this one so the SA cannot tell you that you can't earn extra points because you are buying mini products. The SA who added on my points said" this is not right. They (Boots) cannot give you stuff for free" she wasn't happy that I was paying 1.00 for each item and earning an extra 100points for each item - making them free. Boots give us all these offers, we didn't ask for them. Although I - like everyone else - am quite happy to take advantage of them:D

    Boots: spent £21.52

    1 x 5 day detox plan,
    2 x revlon compact concealers,
    1 x Huggies wipes,
    1 x Nivea shave foam,
used dble points coupon, 75 pts coupon from AC machine on £10 spend, £1 off Huggies coupon, free revlon concealer coupon and Boots £2.50 mens coupon for the Nivea product

Was all flustered and was expecting more chnge back from poor cashier as i used both cash and gift vouchers and got confused armed with list to buy/look out for and coupons.

Wish it wasn't so stressful shopping in Boots.. oh and free revlon concealer coupon wouldn't scan, had to get keys to till for over-riding. Did get another voucher though.

Second transaction, never got a thing but oh don't even want to think about it - so embarrased..

Sans, did you get the concealer free without buying anything? I have the voucher from the metro too, but It says you have to buy a foundation to get the concealer free - I think. I don't have the voucher to hand so I cannot check. Is this right?
  • Can anybody be so kind as to explain the deal with the Max Factor boxes please. I love a good bargain and these seem right in my price range!

Also, thanks to everyone who posts good deals on here, I'm a bit of a lurker here but I could kiss everyones (virtual!) feet for all the bargains I've had lately!!

Hi pingua, Metro is a free paper given out in London in the mornings (and some other cities now). *miss the metro since moving out of London* :(
