the cheapest item i found was the cleansing and toning milk at £1.19 and as its triple points at the moment on skincare it you get 109points so effectivly only costing you 10p;) and its quite nice on your skin too.

I have typed this once, and it took me 20 mins then didn't post, so bear with me, I am still very new! Will try and condense what I reported b 4!
Went to White Rose today, and was effectively told that the 'Glitch' had been spotted that morning, in THAT store, as a lady had tried to put thru' loads of No.7 Suncare and been charged a nominal amount. They phoned HO, queried, and were advised that this was a System Error that would be fixed, but in the mean time they would memo ALL Boots Stores to prevent the 6 4 1, and Customers must choose between 2 4 1 or 3 4 2!
Told "it wont work at any other Boots store either". As if I would??!!!!

To be fair, the SA's and Manager were quite polite, and even apologised.
A contrast to some I have had the mis-fortune to deal with this week.

Anyone else had any similar experience today?
I'm rather nervous at trying again, anywhere else?
This was at approx 1.00pm today.

I was in white rose about 12.30 and couldn't see any sign of the bogof on sun care (except for I think soltan active?). Was going to try it anyway but decided against it - glad I did now. Will try further afield tomorrow but I may have missed the boat on this one?

Thanks guys I got myself a few bargains this afternoon! One thing I did notice though was it did not come up strictly 6-4-1. Here's what happened:

    Got sunspray spf 15 £12.50
and sun lotion spf25 £12.00 (free on 2 for 1)

    Got shimmer lotion spf15 £11.50
and tan maintainer £9.50 (free on 2 for 1)

    Got shimmer aftersun £8.50
and face aftersun £7.50 (free on 2 for 1)

Then on 3 for 2's, I had £11.50 deducted for the shimmer lotion and £7.50 deducted for face aftersun which seemed a bit strange as the £7.50 had already gone through as free so it should have been the £8.50 product that was 3 for 2.

Therefore I ended up paying a pound more than expected. I'm not sure if the order in which they are scanned makes a difference or not?

Also they had no mags so lost out on 100pts with Botanics and they had also ranout of £5/£3 vouchers - reckon I should complain by email? Do you include your advantage card number when you complain?

This happened to me today too. Not alot of suncare so did 341 not 641, so I could get a 'normal' No.7 product.
One transaction had a £5.50 hair spritz, £7.50 cooling face balm and a £6.50 face exfoliator cream, the £5.50 was deducted twice for BOGOF and 342!!!! Thought I should have had 1 £5.50 off and 1 £6.50????

6 for 1 was working at Blackpool at 2pm this afternoon so wonder if they were making it up as they went along?

Does anyone please know if Blackpool/Preston/Cleveleys have the Time Delay starter kits reduced to £4.99 (to use £5 change one thing voucher against it)?

Also, has the £5 voucher worked locally against the lipstick bags? It seems to have worked for some people and not others. I'm trying to decide what to use my last £5 voucher on. I've got enough suncare for me and my family so don't need any more of that now!!

have had 2 lipstick bags and one burgundy bag, £1.50 each with voucher.

Does anyone know if you can get refunds on suncare products? Was going to try 6 for 1 tomorrow, but seems it might not work now.

I think it always takes the lowest amount off. So the lowest on bogof is the 5.50 and the lowest again on 342 (as it is a double glitch) is 5.50. Ifyswim

can someone confirm or refute, does the 250pts voucher work with the burgundy bag that is currently selling (was gift with purchase), bought it with the intention of using up my £5 vouchers. Just want to know if I have a right to shout or not!?!?

    hi louise
this worked for me,i slipped the voucher out then handed the bag over and points coupon and 5.00 voucher!
make sure you check before you leave cos they will keep the 250point voucher.
