In Boots Whitgift Centre, Croydon, this afternnon I got 2 x No7 Face Serum.... used a £5 voucher and the 'wrap' gift bag went through no problem at all. The SA (not one from the No7 counter!!!) was amazed that I only had £2.50 to pay and couldnt thank me enough when I explained how it works (thank God I didnt have to explain a 641 deal or I would have been there all day!!)
The gift bag is FAB!!! Full of really nice goodies :T2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead0 -

Gulp! Have you managed to work out how much you spent. And how much you saved?0 -

The best day out recently was a trip to Liverpool, with a slight detour via Chester! Managed 7 branches in one day and 62 Botanics items!
I donated loads of them to a womens refuge near me!
I havent been to the Liverpool one lately (parkings awful!) but that sounds like a helluva haul well done!!!
I wonder if my local womens refuge will want the botanics cream thats brought me out in lumps??lol i think not!!! i think the local bin men might take it off my hands!
:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

secret-squirrel wrote:Just a quick point - lots of the gift sets have coupons inside with dates in February/March `07. I did not want to appear a meanie so I have taken the coupons out. I didn`t want everyone to know I had bought them sale items (or worse have them think they were unwanted gifts of mine). If the box rips they can be put in baskets or tissue. The items are still good for 24 months or so (there usually is a little open jar symbol on the back).0

Got 'em, used 'em (about 7-8 goes), face felt a bit softer immediately after but other than that...total waste of time and money....(for me anyways!)Learn the rules so you know how to break them properly!0 -
