oh god help me, its getting beyond a joke! all i wanted to do today was use up my last 2 lots of vouchers! wandered round and round store for ages then decided to just get a nail varnish with £5 off. came out of boots and felt like id just lost out so had to run back in and do 3 4 1 to make myself feel better!!LOL. (not enough suncare for 6 4 1):o
decided to get some botanics before offer finishes and shock horror no waffle scrubs(never seen any body bars) so in a moment of madness i grab the 2 that my mum had just bought and payed for them again with my 2 free creams!!!
anyway back 2 square one cos now i have another voucher.........!

Hi everyone
As a few of you already know I have been wanting to do 6 for 1 all month but been too chicken!!!:rotfl:
Today, I took the plunge.
I took my daughter along for moral support (but she just went red!).
I picked up my 6 items and headed off to find a gullible/friendly SA but the tills at Leeds are the ones where it's pot luck who you get. I ended up with this lovely lady who looked at all my no7 stuff and said 'Have you got a voucher?' I didn't as they had run out round our way, so she said she would put my Botanics and 90% stuff through first (quite a lot) and give me the voucher. She very kindly did this then started trying to persuade me to put my suncare through in 2 lots of 3, I said 'No' very politely and said 'Just try them altogether and tell me what they come to'. She looked at me as if I were mad and then tried again to persuade me. I was very insistant then and said 'Please!!!'. When she started checking them through her face was an absolute picture. 'It says your total is now £7.50 and you have saved £57. isn't that good!?' At this point my daughter was puce!!!:rotfl: Needless to say I just wanted to grab my bag and go. She then handed me another voucher and said 'Do you want some wipes, I can go and get them for you?' I couldn't get away quick enough so I declined and headed out the shop.
What a hilarious experience, one I shall never forget. I'm not going through it again even though it was such a good bargain. You lot must have huge muscles as it was such a lot to lug around the shops!!!
Thanks again for all your tips and giving me the courage to go for it!!!!:TNewbie Comper

That's if you weren't able to get another voucher today and even if you did another 500pts always comes in handy....
Don't forget to check for a freephone Boots cs number on www.saynoto0870.com

BargainMad wrote:I can see some MSErs are getting in a spin again with SAs who question their multiple use of offers i.e MSErs who take advantage of the glitches at Boots.
If you read ALL of the vouchers....the 250 points No 7 voucher, the 300 Vitamins points voucher, the 100 points Botanics voucher, the 100 points Cold voucher, the £1 off vitamins voucher, the £5 off No 7 voucher AND the £3 off hair voucher they ALL SAY THE SAME THING ALONG THE LINES OF:
"THIS COUPON CANNOT BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH ANY OTHER OFFER OR DISCOUNT"
Sure WE HAVE ALL TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF THE SAs NOT IMPLEMENTING THIS CONDITION but if some "eagle eyed" SA tries to do their job please don't try getting them the sack or ringing customer services in the hope of "compensation".
It is there in black and white for all to see so PLEASE accept it with good grace. One or two people kicking up a real fuss could result in Boots doing less and less voucher offers - think about the bigger picture and not just about your own points balance or how "aggrieved" you feel because your haul was not as good as it could have been.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but give the SAs a break !

No, you need to spend over £5 as the final total to get another voucher but if you phone them and say the store had run out of vouchers the worst she can say is 'sorry, there's nothing I can do about that' but I bet you get some points!:j CRAZY NUTTER NO 16 :j:T MURPHY'S NO MORE PIES NO 15 :TSince Jan 2007Quidco £294, Not smoking £284, Tesco stamps £32, Wilkos £4Weight loss start date/weight 1st Feb - 15st 10lbToday 12th Mar - 14st 13lbvik6525 you are my inspiration xx0 -
