sonee2405 wrote:i've cheered up-thank you foxy lady!i remembered that foxy lady managed to find a no7 mirror in festivel park for £14.99 so i really had to go to investigate and i got one with my parenting voucher.
When i got my mirror yesterday the lovely male SA gave me the parenting voucher back with my receipt :T
Hopefully they will have another one in stock tomorrow. The mirrors are showing up in the no7 3 for 2 promotion online so it should work like the usual 3 for 1- actually 3 for 0 when i give in the voucher.
1 x mirror
2 x suncare
OR......
3 x mirrors @ £14.99 each = £44.97
-14.99 3 for 2
-14.99 parenting voucher
- 5.00 no7 voucher (if scans??)
9.99 to pay
unlikely to have 3 mirrors in stock though..........xx:happylove

When I was in one of the smaller Boots branches a woman was playing hell with the SA because they had run out of the £5/£3 vouchers.
She demanded that when she handed over her vouchers for her transaction, the SA should immediately hand them back in lieu of the missing vouchers.
The SA tried to explain that the vouchers had to be retained in lieu of the cash that should be spent on the items.
Well this customer was having none of it - playing merry hell about the missing vouchers - demanding to see the manager and insisting that the premises are searched for vouchers. I ASK YOU !!!
I do hope it wasn't an MSE person though I have noticed that a few people have had run ins with SA over the offers.
What people do not realise is that "behind the scenes" Boots staff have team meetings where they discuss matters that get them down and these are fed back to head office. Now if a lot of staff "feedback" that the vouchers are causing them hassle with the customers, Boots will do something about it rather than have their staff - OR CUSTOMERS - constantly unhappy. It will usually mean less offers or more RESTRICTIVE offers.
Lets face it the extra points for No 7 coupons should not be used at the same time as 3 - for - 2 and certainly not 6 - for - 1 ! The £5 off vouchers should not REALLY be used in conjunction with any other discount nor should they be used against the £6.50 bags as they are a clearance "gift" item. The extra points with Vitamins should not REALLY be used in conjunction with a £1 discount or a 3 for 2. Sure glitches are allowing ALL these to happen but that is what they are - GLITCHES !!! If people start kicking up a fuss DEMANDING it as their right, well Boots staff will feedback discontent from customers AND staff and they may knock these offers on the head or have less of them.
It will be the same in Customer services - staff feeding back that they have had lots of people complaning that staff have not handed out vouchers to them. The powers that be in Boots may then decide - well we will do LESS vouchers then.
It is always best to keep your head down, do not make a fuss, treat any glitches as a BONUS rather than a right and count what you HAVE GOT rather than WHAT YOU COULD HAVE GOT.
I for one will be glad come 30 January / 2 February (and so will lots of Boots staff). Anyone else think it will be a relief !0 -
Sorry to pester, but I had a look on the Boots website & the first post on this thread and I've still no idea when the 6 4 1 is likely to stop as I can't find a date for either the 3 for 2 or 2 for 1 finishing. Please can someone tell me?0

They had loads of the no7 bags but no lipstick ones, which are the ones I prefer. No Botanics reduced.
And no vouchers to give out either
Anyone seen the lipstick bags in Stoke on Trent?
I am thinking of going to Hanley and/or Festival park on Sunday, anything I need to know or avoid?
Stafford has no reduced Botanics and very little No 7 suncare left, no bags but it has the vouchers.
Dont bother with Crewe, dragons.

Yes, take the seum back, I have mucked up a few times and had to do a refund.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Very well written. I reckon this post should be at the top of each page!!! - just missed the top:doh:0 -
Most of Boots current offers end on Tuesday 30th January and I imagine that will be the case for the Suncare/No 7 offers.
The £5/£3 vouchers are valid until 2 Feb but stop getting handed out a couple of days earlier (or when stocks run out).
The vouchers in the Boots mag are valid until 28 Feb.0 -
Hi, this is my first post on here and I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their tips.
Today I did the 6-4-1 on 4 x the £24.50 kits and 2 x £19.50 kits and also used my parenting voucher so had nothing to pay which was great. I did get nappies, hair bits, etc to try and cover it up a little.
Sorry, forgot to mention that this was in Slough.
I just wondered if anyone may be able to help with a few questions (sorry if they've already been asked and answered in the past).
Does anyone know if the 90% off sale starts tomorrow?
I believe the 3-4-2 on No7 bits ends on the 30th and the new bag offer starts on the 31st but does anyone know if the BOGOF offer on suncare will still be on and if it is does the £15 spend get calculated before deductions e.g if I buy 2 suncare items for £8.50 each will it allow me to put a bag through as well even though the final cost will only be £8.50.
Sorry one more question if you have to spend £15 to get a free bag say you buy one item for £30 can you take 2 bags to the till.
Apologies if none of this makes sense!!0 -
BIG thanks Bargain Mad.
Looks like I'll have time to pop in Moday Lunchtime0
