Apricot Jam Book Win + The best win ever!

I got an email telling me that I had won a copy of the book "Apricot Jam" by Aleksander Solzhenitsyn from The Dabbler but I can't find the OP but thanks to whoever posted it. 
Now, onto the best win ever!
After many MANY months of waiting patiently and of being stressed and thinking our time would never come, we have finally be granted a flat by a local housing association.
The flat is in the village we live in and only those with strong local connections were being considered and because we have very strong connections to the village, we were successful!
^^ That was the best win ever, and even though it wasn't a competition, our county has a bidding and banding system so it's almost like winning a competition.
Now, onto the best win ever!
