Only female trees bear fruit so you probably have 2 males and 1 female. Is the tree with berries particularly well covered this year or just the usual amount?0

I am really looking forward to next summer, I hear it is on a Friday........Dave0

No, it's easy to spot summer... The rain gets a little warmer...0

Surely you meant "3 BBQ Summers" :rotfl:

I thought summer was defined by riots and bombscares on the Westlink? Much easier than looking for a dry hot day.0

Well good or bad winter, I'd rather be prepared.
Thanks to the kind folks on this board I've had my loft insulated free through NIE. I've also re-opened my parkray fire, to help save on the oil, and I've lined my curtains with cheap fleeces to stop heat loss. I was prompted to make these preparations because of the prediction of a bad winter but, even if it is mild, I'm sure I'll be glad of these preparations.
Now, fingers crossed, it'll be mild!0 -

I'm the same, always hiding out on the old style forum, prepping for winter threads.
Got some good deals on winter stuff over the past few months, and am happy to be prepared as I live in the country. We've roads closed at the moment with floods so we're already affected by winter and I noticed a crisp frost this morning, I reckon it'll be the same as last year but I don't see the weather forecast just women's intuition :rotfl:0
