Hi All,
I really need some help.
I wrote to Very recently stating that due to my current circumstances I am unable to make the minimum payments. I asked if I could do reduced payments with a Statement of affairs and I got a letter back today saying that it doesn't meet there minimum payment criteria.
What do I do now.
Please help

When you say 'it' doesn't meet their minimum payment criteria - do you mean the level of your offer - or do you mean that the statement of affairs has been rejected - or that they think from your SoA that you could afford more?
If you cannot afford minimum payments and if you've sent your payment offer then I would simply start paying the reduced payments you have offered.
What this will probably mean is that they will issue a default on your credit file, but you might well find that whilst they won't formally agree to your level of payment, they may not take any further action.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi the letter doesn't say. It just tells me to contact them within 7 days. The letter was sent on the 14th but arrived today which is the 25th. Already outwith the 7 days.0

The min payment is about £200.
I offered £50 a month for 6 months and then to be reviewed but they rejected it0 -
