First time buyer...

Me and Partner have £70k Deposit and seen a lovely house we want for £190,000.

We want to buy it but im worried that my credit score is going to mess it up and we get declined. hers is good enough.
Will this be overlooked as we has a large deposit, and if we prove that we are easily able to afford the repayments along with all other bills and still have a large disposable income after everything is paid out?

What is the best thing to do in our situation....

Salaries would be beneficial as it could be worth applying in your partners sole name and transferring the deeds at a later date?!

You have a healthy deposit which will always go in your favour but if your notoriously bad with credit no matter how big your deposit is you may find your refused.

Debts doesnt mean bad credit score, not being able to get credit suggests a bad credit score, when was the last time you applied for credit?!

Where has the £70k deposit suddenly materialised from, if your debts were only cleared earlier this year?
