Pallet shipping rate UK to N Ireland

Anyone any experience of shipping pallet loads from the UK to Belfast.

My supplier will charge me £115 to send a pallet over, but think I should be able to get a better rate than that.

If anyone can recommend a haulier who is reliable and good value, that would be great.

The delivery will be all boxes, so can be sent as a pallet or loose boxes, whatever suited the courier best.

Thanks folks!

  • I sent 62 kgs (4 Boxes) of delicate equipment from Belfast to Dundee; all arrived pristine condition, bang on time and all for under £60 including VAT and insurance. www.beattiesfreight.com

Have also used Dewart Transport in the past and they were around a similar price to your current guys for a pallet.

  • Have you tried Ireland Freight Services? They have a good reputation. Also give woodside a ring and get a quote. Price around and get a fair deal.

    +1 for Dewart Transport.

I sent a pallet of four alloy wheels to the south of england. Very easy and cost effective process.
  • Thanks everyone

Best I have got so far is £85 plus VAT (from Beatties), so will phone Dewart and Paisley in the morning

We do this often. It will depend on what you want to ship and to where exactly. We would not expect to pay upwards of £70 for a non hazardous pallet to Scotland and North of England. It could be more as you go further south. It would definitely be more is you have anything hazchem.

Most of our business is with landbridge logistics.
