When ever there has been a lot of us we cook the turkey on xmas eve then just heat up in the oven after slices, with hot plates and gravy it's fine. I also second chopping and prepping veg. If making your own yorkshires can make ahead and freeze them. Things like parsnip and swede mash can be done beforehand as well.0

That was a big list that I had done on the previous page I know, but it is a guideline for what you might want.
Usually I can do a half decent shop before Christmas and use all my Nectar points to cover most of the spend and then I only need to go out to buy a loaf of bread and milk in between Christmas and New Year, which actually is pretty good going because I cannot be bothered going shopping in between at all!!
I did buy a tin of Victoria biscuits from Aldi today at £4.99 and I got the cake the other day as well. In all I just spread it out over the weeks. Last year a tin of biscuits kept us going until March time! If I remember right last year I was still skidding with the trolley in Sainsburys car park a few days before Christmas.Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money:beer:
