Sainsburys Interview

Hi lovely forum people :)

I was wondering if anyone has had an interview for Sainsburys? I passed the on-line screening and have been invited on Thursday. Have been unemployed for a while, and I'm surprisingly looking forward to it. Anyone any advice or know anything about it? Thanks for reading :)

  • When I done mine it was basically a maths test and a competancy test. I didnt score 100% and got accepted. I was just really friendly with my interviewer and actually had a laugh with him. I tried to make myself memorable to him aswell, at the end of the day if your memorable to them then the customers will love you :)
Good luck, just relax, you will be fine :)

Oh and I was doing the tests for over an hour, most of its on dvd and you fill it out on paper (may not be the same now as mine was almost 2years ago)

    Hi
I had one a few weeks ago, it was just as Jenny said, watch a DVD, answer some simple questions about what yo saw (health and safety type stuff, some simple maths and scenario stuff). It was very informal and easy. I started last week!

    Good luck :)

You get to watch a dvd and answer questions on it eg look at this picture of a display and say whats wrong with it and its easy to pass. The maths questions are paper based and i think they are at the end of the test.
  • Thank you so much for replying. I don'y understand why I'm looking forward to it. Fingers crossed :) Thanks again
  • Just wanted to update you all, I got the job :) 8 months of being unemployed woohoo! Anyone know what the induction days involve, are there more than one?

well done, yes i know what it involves. Its paperwork and paperwork, its not really that boring though, you learn about the companies values and goals, health and safety, some do's and dont's when your working and watch a few dvd's and make notes. Your trainer(person doing induction) might think as the same as my trainer and wants all of you to pass so the trainer does help in a way with the final exam, the trainer I had said if anyone failed the test at the end it would look bad on her.
