Hi folks....
Hope all your Christmas crafting is going well. Am looking for some help and I just know you lovely folks on here will be able to assist!!
I am going to do a little bag of Reindeer Poop for my nephew (4) and have seen some fab poems on here that I can tweak a little. My niece (9) is getting some Snowman soup which she will just adore. Now I'm stuck!! I have a niece at 3 who is a real girlie girl and would be horrified at Reindeer Poop! Lol! I was thinking of maybe a little bag of Fairy Kisses or Wishes. Was basically going to fill the little bag with Rainbow Drops so it's nice and colourful......I'm stuck however with what to write on the label!! Also have a niece who will be 7 months at Christmas so was thinking if I filled the bag with White chocolate buttons.......any idea what I could call these??
Apologies for the looooong post you guys just seem so much more creative than me!!

just quickly off the top of my head, although I will now need to think about this and not get on with my work
Snowmen Frisbees
Snowmen Puddles
BEWARE
Fairy Wishes
May bring Lots of Kisses
and then give her lots of kisses
or
Fairy Wishes
Bring lots of Kisses
Now Pucker up
So there are no misses
Or
How about "Hugs and Kisses", Last year I filled bags and some small jars with Haribo Hearts and Jelly Lips
A little bag of Hugs
And also some Kisses
Go on now......
Start making some Wishes0 -

I think nicola00's rhymes are lovely. Also for the rainbow drops, I would keep the name and explain on the gift tag that these are what fairies use to build rainbows when they want to make someone smile. WARNING about your third idea you must NEVER give sweets as small as choc buttons to a 7 month old. The standard rule for food is nothing smaller than a 2p piece for any child under the age of three because anything smaller represents a severe choking hazard.Even food they are going to chew apperently must be this big. I am trained in infant first aid. Before I did my training I had no idea food needed to be so big!0

Sorry CCcard but are you saying no child under 3 should have choc buttons? Sounds a bit health & safety gone mad to me!
Personally I would not give chocolate as a present to a 7 month old but not for your reasons!0 -
We watched a video featuring three mothers whose young children choked to death on a sweet/small food stuff or were left brain damaged due to the oxygen deprivation. They appealed for child care professionals to educate others on the risk. Its not imaginary.0

I know there are risks (my own daughter managed to swallow a bead when she was old enough to know better & we had a moment or two before it dislodged & that was the longest time ever & best bit of first aid I have ever done) but your statement would prevent me from feeding peas, rice, diced carrot, diced anything(!), mince, onion etc etc and a nervous mum it could cause them to adjust what they are feeding, possibly for the worse.0 -
Just to clarify, soft diced food like cooked carrot are fine because the child doesn't have to try much to chew them up enough to swallow them. It is harder or chewier foods like sweets that are the problem. Anyone needing advice could speak to a health visiter.0
