Fallen off the Wagon

Help !!!

I seem to have undone all my hardwork by sales shopping !!! :o

I have blown £160 in two days and now I feel stupid, annoyed, frustrated and dissapointed, how can I haul myself back into MoneySaver Mode??

I know its my own fault and I'm not looking for sugar coated kindness, say what you have to, I need a kick up the backside !!!

  • Still got the receipts? Take it all back!
  • We all have bad days but the important thing is to haul yourself back onto the DFW wagon - I know you are clinging on by your fingertips and haven't let go completely.

Is there anything you can take back for a refund?

Any other way you could recoup some of your money by selling items?

How do you put temptation out of reach in future e.g. using only cash and only withdrawing the minimum amount you need for essentials?

Write a list of the positive things you have done to reduce your debts and make yourself feel better. Start the list with "Posted on DFW Forum"

good luck - I'm sure it's only a temporary set back and if we were all perfect we wouldn't be here in the first place;)

Perhaps keep one thing and return the rest? Or better still persuade OH to treat you.

Sign up for free trials for DVD rental and never have to buy another DVD again - if you really need to, you can rent the same title more than once.

Get back on the wagon and don't beat yourself up. We all have slip ups, that's life! Nobody is perfect so hot foot it back to TopShop or John Lewis or La Senza or Ann Summers and get your cash back.

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
