I raised the issue way back when they talked about bringing in park & loop (2 posties in one small van doing 2 duties plus large packets)
there is and was no thought of fitting winter tyres (its a low cost when you consider a few bumped vans cuts any savings)
no shovels
no H&S into risks of sliding vans,pushing,digging(though no spades are provided either)
no training for driving in winter conditions. many people are new drivers to RM with this new set up.
thats just relating to the vans
in Edinburgh(and i guess most of the UK) they barely kept main routes open. all other roads were left
staff were/are sent out to just get on with it

I could go on but in reality the snow is a get out of jail free card from God for RM.
