Its coming winter, and I am constantly trying to occupy my 84 year old mum who has dementia type alzheimers. She will settle to a good film.An idea of what she watches Ann of Green Gables, Whistle down the Wind, Song of Bernadette, Sound of Music, The series of Sam or 70s Coronation st, Songs that won the war by Vera Lynn and Family at War. Im getting Heidi this week. She used to love watching films in the 60s but cannot think of of any at the moment. Any ideas? Thanks

bet she would love all the bette davis, joan crawford, jimmy stewart stuff from the 1940's too. And how about disney - it sounds weird but lots of adults like it including me and its great escapism.
car boot sales are good for picking up cheap dvds, and she may be able to watch them more than once . HTH0 -
Some here, use the menu to click movies then search for films, most of which are free to view or download
