Ordering for overseas

Does anyone know if it is possible to order from an australian website fir delivery to australia but pay with a uk credit card with a Uk billing address. If so anyone know any good sites? Is there an australian amazon.

I figure if it is possible it would be cheaper and easier than buying here and posting to friends in oz

I order from Amazon US to deliver to the US so just try it out with the appropriate .au(?) extension.

Can't you choose it from the Amazon home page? I would think its .aus.com but could be wrong.

If you look on Amazon UK you can have free delivery to Australia on Books, Music and DVDs if you spend over £25.

    Hi There,

I am an expat living in OZ who online shops a lot but, I have to say mostly from the UK cause they havn't quite caught on yet here!

As the other poster said, you can gets books and cd's from amazon UK but thats it. there is no AU Amazon.

TOYS R US have just started online ordering and there is also BIGW.com.au (prob best for toys) but not sure about using a UK credit card. ALSO, it's worth remembering the exchange rate just now, don't get a lot of OZ dollars for your pound.

You could try M&S and Debenhams and see what their international delivery restrictions are as they don't deliver everything on their website.

You may be better buying in the UK and then getting a quote from an international courier for delivery as is this is much cheaper than using Royal Mail international.

    Hope this helps.
