Monday 24th October 2011 - What small DFW things will you do today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending. :money:

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :D

Morning all, it's Monday again...how did that happen?! Still, at least it's payday for me on Friday, bring it on!!!

Today I will:-

  • [strike]Charge phone at work[/strike]
  • [strike]Make use of free water at work[/strike]
  • [strike]Food from stores[/strike]
  • [STRIKE]Dinner from meal plan[/STRIKE]
  • [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
  • [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
  • [STRIKE]Check online banking[/STRIKE]
  • Check out this weeks flylady thread & do something
  • [STRIKE]Try & keep the heating off again[/STRIKE]
  • Finish working out what I've already bought for Xmas & what I need to buy still
  • [strike]Pop to a wedding shop I hear have a sale on flower girl dresses...if I can pick them up for £15 each I will be very, very happy![/strike] - Unfortunately it was too good to be true, only age 4...possibly found some cheaper bridesmaid dresses than the one I was looking at in Debenhams though, but not by much...
  • [strike]Go back to work afterwards to avoid unnecessary spending[/strike]
Have a great, MSE day everyone x
