Cheap Xmas sacks

I really need to find a cheap Xmas sack for my brothers presents off me and my bf as we have got him quite a bit and it will be too much to carry with everyone else Xmas presents on the day and he dosnt get a sack of my mum and step dad as they arrange all his presents in a big pile infront of the tree!! Any ideas?

  • Poundland! BUT if you get the fabric ones be very careful what you put in them and dont carry them! everything just pokes through and makes holes (as I found out half way down two flights of stairs last year) this year I will be sticking to the plastic poundland ones, they seem more sturdy to me!

If you get the plastic ones, I would put everything in a black bin liner until the last minute and then either put them into the sacks sort of Christmas Eve night or 'double bag it' by putting the other bag inside the sacks. Last year I didn't realise one had ripped right down the back of my (sortof) nieces until I went to lift it!

The way around this, is to buy a cheap pillowcase and use it to line the inside of the felt sack :) I have done this in the past and it has worked a treat! or double up and buy 2 felt sacks and put one inside the other.

    Hope that helps.

PS, I love the decorated sacks pictured above and those cotton sacks on amazon seem good value, tempted to buy some myself.
