Help to find a mortgage

I've found a house i'd like to buy, but have a bit of a dilemma.
Basically I need to borrow 20 - 30k on a mortgage. I have at least 50% deposit as me and a family members clubbing together. My problem is
a) i don't think i'm on the electorial register, but i'm not totally sure (i think i have to ring the council to check, which I will do on my next day off)
b) i've just started (6 weeks tomorrow) on a permanent contract, but its a 6 month probation, so think it may be a problem. Before tax my basic wage is 10500, but theres always extra hours and I do sleep ins too as part of my job. Before that I was working for an agency for nearly 9 months, and have worked many jobs before which i can prove.
HSBC has said no as I don't earn 15,000
(which i find rediculous as i've banked with them for years so they know what i spend and what i save!)
I've also got accounts with Halifax, Lloyds, Nationwide too.
Anyone have any advice? It would be greatly appreciated

Must be cheap in the land of nod to get a house for £50/60K
You have accounts with 3 lenders so ring them up and ask.
Minmum lend is normally £25K and if you can get free valuation/legals all the better0 -
round here theres 60 houses all within 3 miles of my house that are under 70k and all of them will be up for offers as several have been on the market from March time to June time this year. But thanks for your help though:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
