I wanna buy my babies bedding soon, before i become to LARGE to go shopping. The prices seems sooo high though.. £90-for just the basics of blankets and fitted sheets-Toys R Us seem the best best as they have a £10 off coupon when spending £50...
So my question is wheres the best place for QUALITY cheap bedding for anew baby?? Thanks...

Honestly - ebay! I did get some from Mothercare which was cheaper than Babies R Us, but I got most from ebay and spent about £5. As with everything on eBay check what condition they say it's in and look at their feedback

Try freecycle too as so much baby stuff is in surprisingly good condition when it's given away as it's used for such a short time before they don't need it any more!

Have you looked on WWW.Kiddicare.com? Never bought any bedding other than Growbags there but we have always found them great value and good service.

I'm using large pillowcases on our crib mattress at the moment - they can't come off, and I already had them. The baby sleeps in baby sleeping bags - we got some from an NCT sale, and a personalised one from ebay as a gift.

Once we progress to a cot, I'll probably check out the next NCT sale.

I would recommend baby sleeping bags too, you can get special ones for newborns. The Baby Catalogue have some but they only seem to have pink or yellow left at the moment: http://www.thebabycatalogue.co.uk/prodinfo.asp?number=H1319 Our daughter kicked her blankets off all the time when she was a newborn, we bought her a sleeping bag and she slept better from the first night we used it. If you use a sleeping bag you don't need any other bedding, other than a fitted sheet on the cot mattress. She's just turned 2 years old now and she still sleeps in a sleeping bag! I've bought one or two from Ebay and a couple from www.bumpto3.com - they sell the proper Grobag ones which are expensive but are very well made and can be washed loads of times. Sometimes they have special offers on and if you buy any of the pregnancy/baby magazines there's usually an advert inside to get 10% off.
