    No it is not, you pay the price advertised on Amazon you are misunderstanding.

    Put it another way........

    Price on Amazon webpage £100, on you basket it will say

    Item £82.50
    Vat £17.50
    Total £100

    So the price is the same they are just showing the VAT breakdown
