OS Stain devils?

I've got a couple of grease spots on a lovely top that the washing machine can't shift. Rather than getting a Stain Devil to remove them, can anyone think of an old style equivalent?
I've had a look through the search but can't find an answer!

I use the cheap washing powder from tesco and washing soda mix and cannot get it to remove these stains - I have to be non OS and keep some ariel liquid which I pop on these stains for a while then wash and it comes out clean.
Sorry its not old style.Saving in my terramundi pot £2, £1 and 50p just for me! :j0 -
