I was very tempted until I read the reviews.
It's only a bargain if you need it.

    Beware!

All the reviews say the smaller one leaks (didn't read the others). Now I know its cheap for a tent, but if it keeps you as dry as sleeping under the starts, why not save the money and take a chance!

I've been watching the tents for a while as I'm hoping to start camping next year. However I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews. Then someone put a Vango Force Ten on Freecycle and I was lucky enough to get it. Its an older tent but supposed to be very good.

So keep your eyes on Freecycle people, i'm a very happy bunny!

I got a 2 person pop-up tent in store yesterday for £3.50, ideal for the kids to "camp" in the back garden next summer
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)
  • I havnt got this one but I did have the gelert one that this is a copy of
and it came with a warning not to do up all parts of the door when inside - as there is a danger of suffocation !!
so I wouldnt consider this type of tent for a kids play thing - but this one may be different...especially if its all leaky !

  • YEY happy thanks OP eldest son nearly 16 took our huge tent off for one nights camping with mates but was not happy it took ages taking it down after a nite of no sleep. First nite sleeping out, police cordon, dogs, helicopters arrived!! They were looking for 2 men who had assaulted someone, told boys to stay put, we had terrified call from my son at midnight, DH went down all was fine, police left. Boys announced they were 'fine' but called at 6am ready for us to collect him !! They had no sleep and some mates went home. This will be easy for him to put up and fine to use if its a dry nite. He can use it fishing too ;) thanks again
