That's fair enough, but it does pay to shop around (northern rock 6.1%).
With your payment record, you wouldn't have any problems.
Also some companies do not charge for settling up early.

Thanks, as the loan was for a wedding and a 6 week long tour accross the USA and Canada I did'nt want to take any chances, but yes I agree it is better to shop around.Aiming to be debt free....but still off target0
