£9.99 for an advent calendar? You'll probably find the same one in places like poundland, home bargains, poundstretcher etc for under a fiver!
  • I managed to pick one of these up this week in TK Maxx for £4.99! Looks quite good and DD can use the bits in her dolls house.

The only problem is I now need something 'as good' ie not just a chocolate calendar for DS, I dont fancy paying the £15-£20 for the Lego type ones - anyone seen any other designs around atall for a tenner or under please?

It's not your regular advent calendar with chocolates or pictures, it has hello kitty collectable items in it.

Had exactly the same thoughts as you...was trying to get something different but tbh Playmobil really fits the bill. Shame you can't get Marvel or Cars etc.,
