Well what can I say....the offer didn't work for a few weeks (Groupon must have stopped it), but people have reported it works again on HUKD!
:j
Not doing any this time around though; too busy with uni work!
---
Here's my step-by-step guide on how to get your free £8 credit:
1. Go to http://www.groupon.co.uk/
2. If you have an existing account, make sure you're logged out of Groupon.
3. Choose your city (make sure it's not on 'National Deal' and enter your email address in the box at the top right of the webpage (make sure it's an email address that you haven't used on Groupon before). Submit the email address.
4. You'll then get the following message: 'You have successfully subscribed to the Groupon UK newsletter for Your City with the following email address: ilovemse@mse.co.uk'
5. After a few hours, you'll get a 'Welcome to Groupon' email.
6. Then wait; 20 days to be precise! Over the course of these 20 days, you'll get about 2/3 emails per day from Groupon. Ignore them. You'll also get a couple of emails from 'Groupon Premium' giving you a chance to buy past deals. Ignore these too. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU DO NOT BUY A DEAL WITH THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU REGISTERED AND THAT YOU DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT 'TIL YOU GET THE £8 CREDIT.
7. After 20 days, you'll receive an email from 'Groupon Premium' with your £8 credit.
9. Register for an account via the link provided in the email.
10. Done!

Didn't work with loads of people last time.0

This works but unfortunately credit does not last more than 4-5 days I think, but if your on the ball constantly every few days youll be getting yourself some serious bargains. Gmail accounts are the easiest to open, have a mobile ready.Save saynoto0870.com in your favorites, and stop giving companies more £££ dialling 0870 numbers when you can dial freephones or cheaper alternatives
call your credit card company, tell them that you want to leave, 99% of the time theyll lower your APR%
Remember when that Bank Manager or Salesperson smiles at you, all he sees is £ notes. Dont forget the motto, "the wider their grin, the more debt your in"0 -

Actually, there's a way around this.
When you get the credit email....do not activate it 'til you find a deal you want to buy; at which point, you can click on the link and activate the credit. You can do this even after a few months from the expiry date in the original email.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
