Anyone lost the wedding planning excitement?

If you're feeling too stressed it may be time to locate a wedding planner who, in the final few weeks, can help you pull things together and give you peace of mind.0

... and charge an arm and a leg! :rotfl:
This is MSE, we are well able to plan for ourselves and help each other out.

I had lost the planning bug in the last few weeks as it feels like most things are under control but just got my holiday request form for next year so now I can book the wedding off and have got excited again.
Plus just realised it's only 3 weeks till we head up to Edinburgh to meet suppliers and sort things out so thats exciting too
not sure what I will do after that though as most things will be ready and still have 5 and half months to go. 0 -
I think I will be feeling this way soon, we dont get married for another 20 months. I have bought most of the stuff that I can buy now and we have paid most of the deposits so I'm guessing that once the deposits and buying is done I will be loosing my excitement until it comes to the time to put our notice of marriage in July next year.0

I had completely lost all excitement because I was getting married in 2013 and had done pretty much everything I could, then we changed it to 2012 and I've just realised it's 10 months away and stuff needs done. Eek.
I'm sure you'll get more into it as the time comes, it's hard when it seems so far away and you're resitricted to what can be done..0 -

I am supposed to be arranging an appointment with a photographer but I just havent got the get up and go!! Is this normal? Did anyone else have this!
In a word....yes!!! It is perfectly normal to feel like that especially when you have other things going on. We all have lives after all.
I was feeling like that up until today when I tried on some wedding rings I liked so excitement is back
Don't stress too much.....you have plenty of time. Btw I have no photographer yet and only 8 months left.....ooooops lol.SPC 9 # 5360 -
