Mortgage Exit Fee £99 to £225 in 18 months

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
When I signed up for my Base Rate Tracker with the Abbey (18 Months ago)the mortgage exit fee was listed as £99 but may increase. I've now found out that it's increased by £126. I think this is unreasonable.
Does anyone know where I can find a standard letter to complain? and what are the governing bodies in addition to the FSA who can help?

Martin's article (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1170081918,22653,) and the two threads dedicated to Exit fees at the top of the page will help, including a letter template0

Of course, it might not just be 18 months - it might be a lot longer, because you don't know how long it was at 99 pounds prior to your application.
I still think all these fees are extortionate.Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0
