£1 Thermacare and £1 Vicks Coupons at Superdrug

In the pharmacy section at Superdrug this weekend, I found £1 off Thermacare coupons and £1 off Vicks First Defence coupons next to the till, both valid until 28 February 2007. I was only able to grab a couple as the SA was watching me. The coupons have the Superdrug logo, but in the terms it does not specify that the coupon must be used at Superdrug.

A normal barcode, scannable at Supermarkets, starts with 9 9.

Then at the end, the last few digits (but not the last one) show how much it will scan for. So a 50p off coupon will end x050x (where x is any digit).

When looking for these coupons, MSEers may like to also look for Dove coupons at Superdrug which were mentioned in a separate thread last week. Here it is:

It's possible these won't scan at Tesco according to the other thread, just like the Olay fivers last year. But they did scan at Sainsburys (where I bought Olay) and Asda (where I didn't).

Guess where I'm off to before the school run this pm?! :D Thanks for the tip-off!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks! So easy, wish I had asked before now! Both have the same barcode, they start with 9 9, and both seem to indicate that they will scan for a £1.

    Good luck hunting today!

I have a few of these! They were at the bottom of my basket and the cashier put them in my bag. Wonder where they are now! I've had them since last year!
