What you are suggesting is fraudulent - they could take both civil and criminal action against the OP.

    Criminal action? Really?

    Are you sure about that?
  • Just follow their complaints procedure due to the "hard selling" and if you are not happy with the final outcome you can raise this with the financial ombudsman service. It would be in the company's best interest to avoid costs of the FSO getting involved.

Well, obviously everyone isn't as perfect and clever as you quite clearly are. Must be amazing being you. Strewth!

Well, obviously, most people are, as they don't fall for this rubbish, but it isn't being "perfect" or "clever" it is called "using a bit of common sense".

Still, maybe if I send a cyber hug to the OP then everything will be okay?

You have been lucky, i have seen 2k mentioned on here before for a set..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

The very worst case scenario is as you've paid nothing yet, you could just report the card lost/stolen.

It's a good job for the OP then that the people concerned won't have photographic evidence of them being there for quite some time apparently engaged in trying the product they were subsequently sold.

    Oh wait...
