Propoganda or not better to judge an organisation by its actions and not its 'mission statements',but you need to know where they are starting from. For a perfect example look no further than the UN for fluffy world thinking and healthy bank accounts.

Back on topic, i got this stuff a couple years ago, it did take ages to arrive, but when it did it was a big fat package full of books and posters etc etc

And I bet your grand parent would have just LUUUUUUVED for an organization like NATO to be there when the actual NAZI party was running havoc around Europe, but hey who remembers that. While we are at it why don't we blame Bush and Blair for the annual seal cull or Rambo for 9/11 because he helped the Mujahideen in 1988 to fight them commies (See Rambo III and the final credits in which the producers state their support for the people of Afghanistan)... I dont want to get into this argument but just a couple of little things
1.Should 'intalectual' not be spelt 'intellectual' .
2.Obviously your native tongue must be American for you to be soooo wound up by politics

Well, this has certainly provoked some controversy! It is interseting that those with the strongest opinions have the least education (spelling mistakes anyone??)

Thanks Vellum, i have sent for this for my boffin sister who wants to study international politics at Uni next year. Hopefully she will learn something she didn't know.

My native tongue is actually DUTCH...(Clue is in the name, Dunce). and we (The Dutch) actually lived both through the "HITLER era and with our nose right up to the soviets. Unlike you Brits ( Who before any one starts about how we needed you to get rid of the Nazi's needed us to get those pesky Irish under controle) we learned from occupation. so GOOO NATO. And we actually took the time to learn another language. I challenge any one to try and write their reply in proper DUTCH ( Left wing Dutch people excluded)
