Halogen Heaters are currently on an offer price of £9.99 in dunelm. 1200w 3 settings. Note of caution: some stores have not had the prices updated on the till, but they correct it as soon as you point it out. Fab way to keep the heating costs down now the weather's turning nippy!
Still looking for the plot...... Anyone seen it???

I think the bottled gas patio heaters are by far the worst way of keeping heating costs down...0

I think the benefit is you can set them up to keep a room warm as opposed to heating a house. How do they compare cost wise with gch then as they are always advertised as costing pennies per hour to run and my parents do use one.0

I have one and certainly keep my heating costs down because they are quite cheap to run and it saves heating the whole house - I only have electric (no central heating) anyway.
They feel so cosy in the winter!Mortgage: [STRIKE]Jan 11 - £91830 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] Jan 12 - £89'199[/STRIKE] May 14 - £69'999 Car Loan: [STRIKE]Jan 11 - £3658 [/STRIKE] July 12 - £0! Credit Card: [STRIKE] Jan 11 - £3300 Jan 12 - £2250 [/STRIKE] Oct 13 - £0

They have a 2000w one that's a fan heater on the same site for £8.95, I'm going to get that one as it's handy for heating one room with washing in when the central heating isn't on yet but it's too wet to hang washing outside. It gets the air moving and the washing dried in no time,Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19
