New contract, don't agree, what to do?

So handed a new contract of employment this morning, I was told sign it bring it in on Monday, No period of consultation which I believe in itself is against the law, but there are various things on it I don't agree with. How do I proceed with it?

If you check post no 9 - there is alot of info on the legal side; however in NI it might be slightly different.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
To my knowlledge this particular area of law is common to the UK. The main differences in the law in NI is that they have more extensive discrimination laws and more teeth to deal with it; and their version of ACAS actually know what they are talking about! Please don't take that as gospel, but I am fairly certain it is correct.0
