Oh drat, I had it in my basket with the code but was waiting on DH coming home for lunch to ok it with him. Went to checkout and the code is no longer valid? My dd is wanting a telly for Christmas and it would have been FAB to get her a 42" as she'll be taking it with her to uni next year but I really can't stretch to 300 quid. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be. Thanks OP.

You can buy a 40" Sony with excellent reviews for £319 (net of £100 Sony Cashback), so anyone paying £420 for this TV should seek therapy.

But nobody posted to say they WERE paying £420, they paid £250 as per the op, do you need therapy ? :rotfl:

Anyone who spends £250 on a TV with no favourable reviews from Which? (or other sources of objective product reviews) needs therapy.
