So the French and the Germans are now at odds, now that the French want the Germans to bail out the French banks from the consequences of German haircuts.
Meanwhile, markets rise strongly on the announcement by Frau Merkel that no decisions are going to be made soon. They seem to have noticed that decisions by euro-politicians are invariably bad. What heights might they reach if Frau Merkel said she would never make a decision again?
