Charging order from Blair Oliver and Scott

I'm right on the verge of going BR, just getting together the stuff I need and final 'professional' advice.

I've had a snotty letter this morning from Blair Oliver and Scott debt collectors on behalf of Halifax, saying...

"formal notice is hereby given that our client has instructed us to commence court proceedings against you without delay. Papers are now being prepared for commencement of action through your local court to seek a judement against you. If you are a homeowner and do not pay the amount the court orders you to pay, we may then reapply to the court for a charging order on your propterty. blah blah blah"

This is despite me paying Halifax £100 per month since January since Halifax agreed to cut interest and charges - until recently when they passed things onto this DC company.

As I'm now about to go BR anyway, could they in theory still do this?

If you are planning to go BR in the next month or 2, then this isn't a threat that you need to be concerned with.

You would be going BR before BOS could possibly get a CCJ, then an interim Co, and then have a final CO hearing.

Even in the unlikely event they got part of the way down that road, the BR at any point before the final CO is made would squash their attempts.
