Tesco, debs & others money off vouchers

I wonder which retailer it will be today! I'm hoping it will be either Boots, Body Shop or Debs, MSErs please report back and tell us what retailer the voucher is for so I know whether to pick it up with my normal paper today

Hmmm, is anyone else feeling vaguely cynical about this? The Mail are well known to me for advertising things and then they turn out to be nowhere as good as they offer! Would be interested to hear how this works out for others being the cost of the papers at the moment are not (to me) just throw away money especially if I don't like reading that particular paper.

Have the paper and todays vouchers inside the paper are -

£5 off food and wine at M&S when you spend £25 or more valid until the 26th Oct.
£1 off cakes at Tesco with a £2.50 spend excludes fresh cream cakes, valid till Oct 28th
£1 off fresh stocks and sauces at Tesco with a £2 spend valid till 28th Oct
£1 off Mary Berry Christmas Cake mix valid till 28th Oct
£1 off a £10 spend off pet food valid till 28th Oct
Save £1 when you buy Viakal Gel valid till 28th Oct

Vouchers will be in the paper over the next ten days
Tomorrow will be £5 off Debenhams.

Is anyone having an problems using their coupons in Tescos? On Tuesday The Sun did a similar thing on Tuesday and I tried using the yesterday: £1.00 of cakes when you spend £2.50 & £1 off pies when you spend £4.00.

I bought chicken pies valued at £5.00 and £3.00 worth of cakes and the check out assistant said that they couldn't accept both of them as I hadn't spent enough. So I looked confused and she said, "You need to spend £4.00", and I said "Well I have spent £5.00 haven't I?"(pointing at the pies). So she took that one but not the one for the cakes, so I asked her to refund me. So yesterday evening hubby went up to buy the cakes, again £3.00, different checkout and they said they couldn't take the voucher because he hadn't spent enough (again). He said "Well I have spent over £3.00 on cakes," so she called the supervisor over and they put it through as a "no" or "non scan". Also had problems getting the 5p off fuel voucher when you spend £50 on Wednesday. It seems they are putting these vouchers out there and then not honouring them. Incidentally in the Sun it says "Save £5.00 if you use all of them", so I can't understand why they won't accept them.
