  • https://www.autoebid.co.uk pretty good site for new pre-reg
  • If you are looking for a seven seater I would definitely have a look at the Vauxhall/Renault/Nissan-Vivaro/Trafic/Primastar Crewcab, such alot of vehicle for the money.
I bought a Trafic last June, I emailed all dealers in the UK asking for their best price and when I received all the quotes I email the cheapest quote back to all the dealers asking them to better it. So simply and it saved me £1000's( highest quote £17500 ex VAT, purchase price £10750 ex VAT).
Amazingly it was a small, local dealer who gave me the best price, as he purchased the van from Renault under the pretence it was to be part of his rental fleet(which does not exist) for which Renault gave him a huge discount, which was passed to me.

    Good luck

  • I know https://www.dealdrivers.co.uk were selling brand new Ford galxy's for about !34900 a little while ago.

Good place to look is on the latest deals page of What car for tip, but do a Google for Car Brokers too.

The ones that spring to mind are Carfile.net who i've used before and Dealdrivers who seemed good.
  • If you are buying new I can recommend https://www.drivethedeal.com
I bought a new car from them, saved quite a bit of cash, all hastle free.
  • You can always see what price online brokers such as drive the deal come up with and then just go to your local dealer if would rather deal locally and get them to match or beat it.

My local dealer wasn't at all phased even after trying to sell me a year old car for more than eventually paid for a better model brand new.

Good to be flexible on colour etc to take advantage of specific cars being cleared by dealerships or manufacturers.

    Try looking on

Check out https://www.broadspeed.com for the best price for a uk sourced car direct from the uk dealer. they simply put you in touch with the dealer who can sell it to you at the best price.

If that happens not to be in your area use the price to bargain with your local dealers - i live in northern ireland and used broadspeeds price from a mainland dealer as leverage when dealing for a new bmw recently - i explained i was more than happy for a day trip to england if required!

I ended up getting the car i wanted brand new 2007 model, for less than the same dealer is asking for a year old same spec car....

    Hi,

We bought a Mazda MPV (http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/Review.aspx?model=487) in '03 and it's been brilliant. However, Mazda have since stopped selling it in the Uk, not that they pushed it very hard anyway.

In general, I found whenever I've looked at MPV's, they always seem to score quite badly in tests, very rarely getting better than average. In fact, this is a quote from the Which Best Buy car survey for the section relating to MPV's: "No full-sized MPV has done enough to make it into our Best Buy list this year - go for medium."

In the Large MPV section, the Chrysler Grand Voyager won the
"What Car? Car of the Year 2006 - Best large MPV" award
    http://www.whatcar.co.uk/news-special-report.aspx?NA=218154&EL=3147103

    They are quite pricey though

    Hope this helps

    Mike
