Correct, there are lenders that will offer loans without PPI but it doesnt state that a lender cannot make it part of their terms.
If you see the quote I took it says to look for another lender. If it wasnt allowed then surely they would recommend that you report the lender to them for action?All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Hmm, good point, it is rather ambiguous as to how it stands for T&Cs.Anything I post here is purely my own personal opinion. As such it may be wrong, poorly worded or written very tongue-in-cheek. Please therefore treat it the same way you should treat anything you read on the internet from an unknown person - with a healthy pinch of salt and scepticism!0

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think the only thing I can do is try my luck make a complaint and see what happens. It looks like they are on dodgy ground making it a condition of the loan but not necessarily breaking any rules.
