    I would wonder if future mortgages will remain tied to the BOE rate or if they will migrate to the banks own level.

    Some people are tied to BOE for the lifetime of their mortgage. Nice tie if you got it.

    I'm years ahead of my mortgage repayments. I can't imagine I'm alone in this.

    As I said right at the start, the current period of low interest rates are a once in a lifetime opportunity for ordinary people to get on in life and increase their personal wealth. I'm taking maximum advantage of this and I would suggest that others do the same (if not already).

    Or for ordinary people to not get on in life.
