  • Just in case you were still trying the "DIY" thingy IYKWIM  , when I had my baby the midwife told me that you need to "do it" about 120 times to get the stength that the tablet thingy that they give you to induce labour gives you :rotfl: and I had two tablets!!!

So I think you ought to get to it as it takes a lot for a man to do it 120 times :D. Useless, aren't they?

Good luck anyway, don't forget to post JUST before you go to hospital, we'll all be waiting with bated breath xxxx
  • Whens your due date IA???

Mine was Tuesday - this child doesn't seem to realise that its time to come out yet!! I'm getting very fed up!!

    How are you coping?

  • 120 times???? Screw that!!! lol

As you guys can probably tell yes I'm still here and still 'reasonably' sane. No signs or symptoms to report and I think she's staying in in protest now. God knows what she's protesting against though! She's probably heard me singing to Ashli and thought 'stuff that!' lol.

Slowly going insane but other than that nothing to report! Argh!

I was 13 days overdue in August on my third. He just didn't want to come out into this world. I had to be started but then it only took 3 1/2 hours. Although I had contractions from 39 weeks. You know the strong period pain kind, but I coped.
:A Tomorrow's just another day - keep smiling
  • I'm still hoping for tonight - not as much as you immoral!!
Otherwise we will all have to pick a time for Thursday if you are determined to hang on until then!! Perhaps she thought february would be a nicer month to arrive than january - more clearance between xmas and her birthday - and plenty of time for sales shopping!
