endowment mis-selling

our insurance company has accepted that the endowment policy was mis-sold, as there is no evidence that other repayments were talked about and in our situation a repayment would have been better. We have also recievd an amber alert on our policy. however thery wont compensate beacuse they have followed th FSA's compensation calculations. what can i do? would the FOS be in my favour?
