I have retinol creams and think they are worth the money at first but then your skin adjusts and its back to the drawing board also it would depend on what your trying to do to your skin, a word of warning retinol cream is a prescription only medication and cant be sold legally without a prescription in the UK, I know this because I looked into starting an online business selling this product and others (also as I found out all illegal in the UK) it would appear we are quite behind the times compared to the US. I bought mine directly from a recommended supplier not based in the UK but I wouldn't bother again.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

Which Skinceuticals products are you looking at? I've been using them for a couple of years now.0

I've been looking at the retinol night cream..30mls,0.5% and the 1%... as an anti aging treatment. Thought they might have better results than the usual creams available. Didn't realise they weren't legally allowed to be sold in this county!0

Isn't retinol only restricted at higher strengths? I have some cream with retinol that I bought in Aldi in Trowbridge.
I haven't tried the Skinceuticals one. I do have one of their moisturiser creams which is OK but is too light for my skin but the Hydrating B5 Gel is amazing.
I also use the CE Ferrulic serum which is an anti oxident/anti aging serum. It has made a real difference to the firmness of my skin. It isn't an instant effect though. It took at least a month to see a difference but after 6 months others could see it to.0 -
Yes it is the higher strengths ones that need a presciption but these are the ones that work the best, I too have a daily mosituriser with some retinol in it, its a nice cream and does make a difference but not a patch on the restricted ones, I have a better result with a hydrating cream:)Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0
