the one account, is it as good as it sounds

hi all, im new here so getting to grips with it all.
hopefully just a quick question, me and my partner are moving in together, he has a house i have a flat so we have decided to rent out the flat, im assuming i have to let my mortgage company know this and change it to a buy to let.
the other thing is i was reading about the one account and it seems pretty good at first g lance, is this right or not, i wouldnt be making much out of the flat after the mortgage is paid and ground fees etc, its also ex council flat dont know if this makes a difference, but maybe would have about £50 to a £100 pound spare a month to pay extra. so question is should i change to a one account.

any advice would be appreciated, thankyou

Compare the rates, OneAccount tends to be very expensive. Most mortgages allow overpayments and many have further flexibility for those that need it, at competitive rates.
