do debt collectors use special delivery

hey guys
bit of a weird one this, I have been in communication with Capquest over a debt to capital one (£2175) for the past 6 months, they have ignored all my requests to provide their bank details so I can setup a standing order and now it would appear even the phone calls have stopped.
However I had a card through my door this morning advising that there is a special delivery letter for me at my local sorting office and could i pop along and collect it, the card has a tracking number which has told me nothing about who sent it, and a request for it to be delivered next day before 1pm, am just concerned that it is going to be a court summons or something worse, am of course not sure though as the address on the card has been written as 1-1 rather than 11 (which is my flat number) which i would assume that postie would have just copied from the letter.
basically my question is are debt collectors in the habit of sending stuff out special delivery or am I just being paranoid?

I work for the Post office so can only give you information regards special delivery, if you go to your depo or depending on the depo you may be able to ring them, all special deliveries have to have a return address on them so you would be able to see where it as come from.
or you can have it to your local post office for £1.50 and I suppose you could refuse it and then it would be sent back with the next lot of post, however in the kindest possiable way just ingnoring will not make it go away.
Special delivery is quite expensive to prices start from £5.45 for a standard letter0 -
Just go get the letter and find out what it is. If it is a court summons you're best dealing with it than ignoring it.0
