prize was £750 towards a painball day for me and 24 mates.....although the paperwork mentions doing it in scotland so will have to look into that......

I've got the same. Bit cheeky though, if you check the small print you have to pay £12.50 per person as a "not turning up deposit" you don't get this back, plus you only get a small amount of paintballs, so will have to pay out for a lot more as it is an all day event. Really good prize if you were going anyway but not so much if you thought it was going to be a free paintballing prize.

I am so grateful though for all the people who post these comps, just wish the prize givers were a bit more open about the prizes!!

I once entered a comp and had a "runners up" prize like this. I dont think you were a runner up, its just a marketing tactic. 25 x £12.50 + 25 x £20 (extra paintballs) There making their money back, and then some... I dont want to discard it, but I wonder how many people get that congratulations letter
