Whats the maximum term allowed on HSBC Mtgs?

It states 30 years online....but is this the case....it seems low compared to most lenders?

I expect they would be able to give you the answer if you ring them. try 0800 494999, saynoto0870 says this is their Mortgage services menu.

Looks like it is 30 years for repayment, and 25 years for interest only. Can't see them putting this online without it being part of their criteria. Amazed that 30 years could seem low!

i've just been told that they will only allow 10 years on an interest only lifetime tracker.

30 years is the max, why would you not believe what their stated maximum is? Or do you hate lenders as well as brokers?
